About this bottle

Tasting Notes
Nose: Heady antique oak funk, dark molasses, and saddle leather, opening into brandied dark cherries, blood orange peel, and warm clove.
Palate: Viscous and chewy with dense, old-school Turkey character; notes of sweet pipe tobacco, burnt demerara sugar, cinnamon oil, and rich stewed plums coat the tongue.
Finish: Exceptionally long and resonant, fading slowly with polished mahogany, dark chocolate, minty rye spice, and lingering charred oak warmth.
About the Distillery
Perched above the Kentucky River in Lawrenceburg, Wild Turkey was guided for decades by legendary Master Distiller Jimmy Russell. Revered for adhering to low barrel-entry proofs, high-rye mash bills, and deep #4 'alligator' char barrels, Wild Turkey produced some of the most sought-after vintage bourbons of the late 20th century.
