Tasting Notes

Blanton's Distillery, originally established in 1773 and now part of the Buffalo Trace Distillery (Sazerac Company), is renowned for pioneering the modern single barrel bourbon concept. Colonel Albert B. Blanton, a visionary distillery superintendent, was known for hand-picking exceptional barrels from Warehouse H for his personal consumption, a tradition that inspired the creation of Blanton's Original Single Barrel Bourbon in 1984.
