Canadian Club 6-year 1980 1.75 Liter
Enjoy a legend among whiskies, this 6-year-old Canadian Club offers a remarkably smooth drinking experience perfected by generations. Distilled and bottled under strict Canadian government supervision, its built-in pourer ensures effortless enjoyment of its classic, balanced profile.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Initial notes of sweet corn and a light vanilla, followed by a subtle hint of green apple and a touch of rye spice. There's a faint undertone of caramel and toasted oak, giving it a classic, approachable Canadian whisky profile.
Palate: A smooth and light-bodied entry, with sweet cereal grains dominating. Vanilla and butterscotch present themselves alongside a gentle warming spice – perhaps nutmeg or cinnamon. There's a clean, almost fruit-cocktail-like sweetness that's balanced by its dry character. The 80 proof keeps it incredibly easy-drinking.
Finish: Short to medium finish, clean and soft. Residual sweetness lingers with a whisper of oak and a very mild peppery tingle that fades quickly. Remarkably smooth for its age and proof.
